The player can also gain Social Energy points for a successfully completing activities during the playdate. Points are not returned if an activity is cancelled. The player starts every playdate or date with 10 Social Energy points and needs to spend them to participate in most activities. Dates are similar to play dates, except the player can hold hands with their date. The player can end play time anytime by speaking with the playdate and selecting End Play Time option.Īfter a successful confession, the Play option changes to Date option. That meter indicates how the playing is progressing, and impressing the playdate increases the mood meter. The Social Energy points the player has available are shown in the top right corner of the screen, above the playedate's mood meter. Most activities require Social Energy to participate in. Approaching a play spot triggers a prompt for an action: the playdate can asks the player to do an activity or the player can start the activity themselves by interacting with the prompt. While the player is on a playdate, several red icons appear on the map, denoting the activities the player can do together with their playdate.
